Training of CORPS in poultry value chain management

Community own resource persons (CORPs) across the CBOs were trained on poultry value chain management at KARLO Naivasha which is a recognized centre of excellence on matters poultry. The team will pass this training to the respective communities.

For the first 6 months, they will train under close supervision of government livestock extension officers. After 6 months, it’s expected that they will be able to manage quality trainings independently. This is a great sustainability strategy for the organization as this will ensure continuity of learning and knowledge sharing in the communities beyond the project period.
